ENGAGEMENT: Alcala-Burk

WACO Amber Alcala and Austin Burk of Waco were married July 30 at Baylor University Armstrong Browning Library in Waco with the Rev. Terry Graham officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Lee and Terrie Alcala of Waco.
She is a 2004 graduate of Midway High School and a 2008 graduate of Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in child and family studies. She is a Lower Elementary teacher at Waco Montessori School in Waco.
The groom is the son of Andy and Lee Ann Burk of Horseshoe Bay.
He is a 1999 graduate of Permian High School and a 2004 graduate of Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He is the assistant men’s golf coach at Baylor University.
The couple took their wedding trip to the Cabo San Lucas. They live in Waco.
