Comments 0 | Recommend 0ODESSA Rey Valdez, age 20, died Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born December 6, 1987, to Gonzalo Valdez Jr. and Janie (Bosques) Valdez in Midland, Texas. He worked for Eagle Compressions.
Those left to cherish his love and memory include his mother, Janie Valdez of Odessa; stepfather, Arturo Mendez of Odessa; maternal grandfather, Rosendo Bosques of Midland; paternal grandmother, Isidra Valdez of Midland; one son, Nathanaile Reyley Valdez of Odessa; one brother, Gonzalo Valdez of Odessa; and two sisters, Erica Valdez and Melissa Lopez both of Odessa.
He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008, at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, officiated by Father Frances Frey.
Interment will follow at Los Angeles Garden of Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel.
