R.N. Tucker

ODESSA Reverend R.N. Tucker, 87, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Hospice House.

He was born November 9, 1920, to Marion Binkley Tucker and Mary Alice Nelson Tucker in Tulia, Swisher Co., Texas.

He married Jean Reed August 29, 1946, in Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas.
He pastored churches in Texas and New Mexico. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Tucker of Odessa; sons, Nelson Tucker of Iraan, Texas, Dale Tucker of Odessa; daughters, Evah Tucker Lopez of Edgewood, New Mexico and Mary Tucker Hanson of Lago Vista, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel Saturday, October 11, 2008, at 4 p.m. with Military Honors, officiated by Dr. Jimmy Braswell. Cremains to be interred at a later date.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
