Trim the tree

The Pilot Club of Odessa will light up the Community Christmas Tree at 6 p.m. Monday at 42nd Street and Grandview Avenue.

More than 1,000 lights — bought as a fundraiser — will be strung together for the Monday lighting.

The public can purchase a light bulb on the tree in memory or in honor of someone for a $10 donation to the Rehab Center. Names will be published in the Christmas edition of the Odessa American if postmarked by Dec. 12.
