26th Trappings of Texas to be celebrated

The Museum of the Big Bend in Alpine will celebrate its 26th annual Trappings of Texas on Feb. 24 and 25.

Proceeds from Trappings of Texas support not only future Trappings events but also the museum's many exhibits and educational programs throughout the year.

Trappings of Texas will kick off with the opening reception and sale from 6-9 p.m. Feb. 24, at the Museum of the Big Bend. Donated art and gear will be auctioned at 10 a.m. Feb. 25 at the Granada Theatre on E. Holland Avenue in Alpine. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for previewing.
