Could things have been changed?
THE STORY: Records show that Santiago Lara Jimenez telephoned the Ector County Sheriff’s Office at least eight times over the past two years to report multiple broken windows, property damage and other misdeeds that he blamed on the two neighbors he’s accused of shooting. Jimenez faces a murder charge in the shooting death of Ernest G. Byer Jr. and an attempted murder charge in the shooting of Byer’s father.

I do not like my neighbor either. Do I get to go shoot him because he makes me mad because he plays his music so loud that it rattles my windows? NO - we had to work things out so that we could live peacefully as neither one was willing to move. Our entire neighborhood had to reach an agreement with the man to keep the peace thankfully we could all act as adults.”
