Fiesta West Texas

A full lineup of lively music rings through Odessa this weekend, as the 2008 Sewell Ford Fiesta West Texas takes over the grounds of Ector County Coliseum, 4201 Andrews Highway.
The annual event, celebrating Cinco de Mayo and Mexican heritage, draws thousands of people from throughout West Texas.
The entertainment package includes a stage full of top performers, carnival rides and family-friendly shows.
Children and adults will have plenty to see and do with the concerts, Pirates of the Caribbean diving show, trained baboons, swimming pigs, aerial stunt artists and Turbo, a 10-foot robot.
Hispanic culture and talent prevails in the communitywide festivities all weekend long.
