Willie’s father, owner Willie Hill, Sr., began as a carpet layer’s assistant back in 1955 and worked his way up to carpet installer. He opened Hill’s Carpet in 1970 and moved to the current location at 1013 East 8th Street in 1977. Willie J. Hill received similar training working for his father.    

“Customers from the early days still come in to buy flooring from us. They know they’ll receive the same honest, courteous, straightforward treatment that my father established through the years,” Hill said.

Hill’s Carpet installs flooring for commercial and industrial buildings as well as for homes. Their prices include installation and a two-year warranty on installation.

“We are more than happy to move furniture at no charge during the installation process,” Hill said
