Sul Ross LEAP Program
Students from the upper, lower and middle Rio Grande area recently participated in Sul Ross State University’s Lobo Educational Access Program (LEAP). LEAP is a transitional program funded by the Workforce Solutions youth in Brewster, El Paso, Culberson, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, Presidio, Uvalde, Edwards, Kinney, La Salle, Maverick, Real, Val Verde, Zavala, Hidalgo, Starr and Willacy counties. The program is designed to give students a head start on their college career by enrolling them in college courses during the summer sessions, two each session equaling a total of 12 hours.
