BIG SPRING Bennie Jean Barber, 78, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at her residence.

Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. today at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel in Big Spring with the Rev. Ray Davis officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home of Big Spring.

She was born in Callahan County. She was a homemaker.

SURVIVORS Husband, Billy Barber of Big Spring; sons, Bobby Barber of Big Spring and Wayne Barber of Midland; daughters, Louise Huitt and Sylvia Rodriguez, both of Big Spring; brother, Dean Holland of Big Spring; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchil­dren.
