Taste the Basin

Carlos Puente, with Sid & Sam’s Original Steakhouse, grills some top sirloin steaks for the restaurant’s booth at the 26th annual Taste of the Permian Basin Tuesday at the Ector County Coliseum. Lynn Van Amburgh, operations director with the Odessa Chamber of Commerce, said 30 restaurants and vendors from Odessa and Midland were on hand to feed the roughly 1,100 people that attended the event.
