Wilkins is best choice for Position 5
Comments 0 | Recommend 0My choice for position 5 ECISD School Board is Yollie Wilkins. She is the most qualified candidate with her education degrees and her vast experience as one of our outstanding teachers. Our school system suffered four years ago under the direction of some of our school board members.
With some changes in the membership of the Board in the past year, improvements were made and ECISD is trying to get back on track. I feel Yollie's enthusiasm and educational background will be most beneficial to continue these improvements in our school system. We do not need a repeat of the past as I feel we would have with her opponent.
I have heard some people say that many teachers do not vote in school board elections. I hope that is not the case, but if it is, I challenge teachers to vote, as the make up of the school board is in their best interest.
Please join me in voting for Yollie Wilkins, May 10.
