Yes, it really is that time again already. Back to school.

Pens, pencils, notebooks, paper and other external necessities aren't all that's needed. Medical Center Hospital and the Ronald McDonald Caremobile are offering back-to-school health checkups from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the east parking lot of Music City Mall.

That includes immunizations, eye screenings, blood sugar level testing, educational information to help parents and children prepare for the upcoming school year.

There are requirements on the immunizations. Children must be 18 or younger and be accompanied by a legal guardian, and don't forget to bring the child's current shot record.
