ODESSA Abraham and Nelly Ramirez of Odessa celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary May 21 with a party hosted by their family and friends.
Nelly Castanon married her husband April 11, 1971 in Coyame, Chihuahua with the Rev. Antonio Ramirez officiating.
The couple has two children: Diana Ornelas and Daniel Ramirez, both of Odessa. They have five grandchildren.
