The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police. Numbered addresses of crime victims’ private residences and locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.
Burglary of a Building
>> An Odessa woman reported someone caused $20 damage to her fence, entered a building and took a lawnmower and grass trimmer worth a total of $459 between 1:25 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 5400 block of Clinton Avenue.
>> An Odessa man reported someone forced entry, damaging a $50 window, and took a lawnmower and assorted tools worth a total of $1,100 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of West Second Street.
Burglary of a Habitation
>> An Odessa woman reported someone took three flat-screen televisions and a videogame console worth a total of $2,600 between 6 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Santa Rosa.
Possession of a Controlled Substance
>> A 23-year-old Odessa man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 3400 block of Rocky Lane Road. Michael Jacob Roever, 4330 N. Grandview Ave., was released Wednesday on a $7,500 bond.
Theft
>> An Odessa man reported someone he knows took a prepaid debit card and used it without his consent between Saturday and Tuesday.
>> Gordon’s Jewelers, 4101 E. 42nd St., reported someone took a bracelet, earrings, two wedding bands and a diamond worth a total of $16,197.98 between Friday and Sunday.
>> MTS Oilfield Services, 1725 E. Second St., reported someone took $12,400 worth of oilfield tools between 12 p.m. Aug. 12 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 18.
