Comments 0 | Recommend 0CRANE Justino Olivas "Welo" Ortiz, 80, of Crane, died Friday, May 29, 2009, at his home.
Rosary services will be at 7 p.m. today at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane with Deacon Julio Carrasco officiating. Funeral services will be at 10 p.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Rev. Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial services will follow in the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Mexico and was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
SURVIVORS Brothers, Faustino Ortiz of Pecos, Joaquin Ortiz of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Heriberto Ortiz of Crane; sister, Hermelinda Ramirez of Austin; sons, Jorge Ortiz of McCamey, Hector Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz and Alfredo Ortiz, all of Crane, Raul Ortiz and Fernando Ortiz of Odessa; daughters, Celia Quezada and Carmen Ortiz of Crane; 27 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
