Survival of the fittest
A one-man show Tuesday night at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin is scheduled to bring a little spotlight back to one of the world’s most renowned historical figures, Charles Darwin.
On the 150th anniversary of Darwin’s groundbreaking work, “On the Origin of Species,” and the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth, biologist and performer Floyd Sanford is slated to take the stage at 7 p.m. in the UTPB Library Lecture Hall 001, where he will perform “Darwin Remembers,” a rendition of Darwin’s life and work.
The event is free and open to the public.
