The Egg and I restaurant coming to Odessa
Add “The Egg and I” restaurant to the list of new eateries coming to Odessa.
The Colorado-based breakfast chain is expected to open some time this summer, The Egg and I Marketing Manager Katy Poindexter confirmed.
Poindexter said a site has not been selected yet and would not disclose who requested the franchise to be built in Odessa.
Larry Lee of Leeco Properties and Roy Allen of Investment Corporation of America Properties said they were unaware of the upcoming project.
Allen said, however, that sometimes ICA Properties officials don’t know brokers’ prospective projects until they are further down in negotiations.
Other restaurants being developed in Odessa include a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, being developed by Gary Haskell of Haskell restaurant Group, currently with no location; and Genghis Grill and Cheddar’s Casual Café, near Music City Mall.
Rosa’s Café and Tortilla Factory will be opening another location in the area north of Odessa on Highway 191 and Faudree Road, while Osaka Japanese Steakhouse, 4023 JBS Parkway, will be moving from its current location to the same area.
McAlister’s Deli, already at 2002 E. 42nd St., is opening a second location on West County Road and Kermit Highway.
