ODESSA Adela Alaniz, 80, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS Husband, Johnny Alaniz Sr. of Odessa; son, Johnny Alaniz Jr. of Odessa; daughter, Manuelita Arguello of Austin; sister, Juanita Odell of Tampa, Fla.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
