Joyce Sizemore Clark

ODESSA Joyce Sizemore Clark, 76, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Hospice House in Odessa.

Mrs. Clark was born June 19, 1933, in Muskogee, Okla., where she was reared and educated. She met and married Virgil Nolan Clark in Odessa on March 12, 1950. They lived in Orla, Goldsmith and Pecos prior to returning to Odessa.
While in Odessa, she worked at D&D Electric and Basin Testers. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Virgil, who died Feb. 14, 1981.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Johnny M. Clark and his wife Marliessa of Hamilton and their children, Jason Clark and his wife Kimberley, and their daughter Marlee Lane of Hamilton, and Taylor N. Clark a student at Austin; her daughter, Teresa Mitchell of Midland, her children Megan Clark and her husband Coby of Dallas and Jeremiah Mitchell of New York City, N.Y; and her brother, Buddy Sizemore of Alabama.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday evening, Nov. 20, 2009. Memorials may be directed to Hospice House, 903 N. Sam Houston, Odessa, Texas, 79761
