McSpadden-Thaxton

ODESSA Amy Beth McSpadden of Odessa and Terrell Wayne Thaxton of Amarillo plan to marry Aug. 29 at First Baptist Church in Odessa with the Rev. Curtis Brewer officiating.

The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Becky McSpadden of Odessa. She is a 2001 graduate of Odessa High School and plans to graduate from Texas Tech University with a degree in Visual Studies. She is employed by Odessa Pumps and Equipment.

The groom-elect is the son of John and Margaret Thaxton of Amarillo. He is a 2002 graduate of Borger High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in music and a minor in psychology. He is employed by Best Buy.
