Ashlyn Davis, 12, left, and Mia Stanley, 10, wait to model their 1800s era dresses Monday evening during the ‘Down the Aisle: 100 Years of Bridal Fashion’ at the Ellen Noël Art Museum. Around 20 models showed off bridal gowns as well as the dresses that the mother of the bride and her guest would wear to a wedding ceremony. The dresses that dated as far back as the 1860s are a part of Steven Porterfield’s collection.
Neva Wood cuts wedding cake for some of the 140 guests before the start of the show.
