YOUR COMMENTS:
>> "I keep hearing some great ideas and pretty persuasive catch phrases. "We need stability", "Collaboration", "Mending fences is important". And I may have missed it - but I haven't seen one single specific quantifiable example from the Board, the Administration, and even the all "knowing" Chamber. What EXACTLY is this savior-team downtown gonna do to keep TEA from coming in and taking the reigns in a few months? I want to see this master plan that is going to provide "stability". I would also like to know what they mean by "collaborate". Does that mean Greg, Batch, Smith, and Foreman should stop stacking the box and pushing through what they want regardless of what the other three say? Or does that mean the three dissenters need to shut up and get in line?
"Come on - you leaders of our community wanted the position you have been given. Chamber, you stuck your nose in here so step up to the plate. Let's hear some REAL information, some REAL statements. Stop tossing around these ridiculous catch phrases. (Course I can't blame you, it works on a good portion of the public)"
>> "Well I sure hope Mr. Mendez does not replace Alma G. They are already too top heavy downtown. Lets save some money or better yet pay the teachers and staff what thet deserve."
