ODESSA Walter Melvin “Sonny” Spiller, 76, of Odessa, a retired principal, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Purcell, Okla., and was a Navy veteran.
SURVIVORS Wife, Margaret Spiller of Odessa; son, Melvin Spiller Jr. of San Antonio; and sisters, Helen Roark of Winters, Jeanette Chapman of Kermit and Betty Swinney of Carlsbad, N.M.
