The following is a list of felony criminal activities reported to the police

Numbered addresses of locations where crimes occur are rounded to the nearest hundred block.

 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE

>> An Odessa woman reported jewelry worth $1,500 was taken from her vehicle between 10:30 a.m. and noon Sunday in the 1700 block of North Texas Avenue.

 

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

>> A 39-year-old Odessa man was arrested at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of Tom Green Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Darren Lee Heffington remained in Tuesday in the Ector County Detention Center on a $7,500 bond.

 

THEFT

>> An Odessa woman reported a generator and toolbox worth $6,161 were taken from her home at 4:10 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of 42nd Street.
