ODESSA The Rev. Amon and Martha Langston of Odessa celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 26.
Martha Stanley married her husband Aug. 26, 1951, at Second Baptist Church in Malvern, Ark., with the Rev. Hoyt Chastain officiating.
The couple has two children: Dean Langston of Odessa and Gene Langston of Weatherford.
They have five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Amon Langston retired in 2010 as pastor of Beacon Baptist Church after 51 years of service.
Martha Langston retired in 1970 from American National Insurance Co.
