VERNON Helen Alice Kubicek, 96, of Hobbs, N.M., a homemaker, died Monday May 5, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Village in Hobbs.


A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church with Hugh Thekkel officiating. Burial will be at East View Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.


She was born in Crowell. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.


SURVIVORS Son, Joe Kubicek of Seminole; sister, Lillian Marek of Electra; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
