Kevin Donald Collins
ODESSA Kevin Donald Collins, age 46, of Odessa passed from this life on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Medical Center Hospital, with the love of his life, Lisa, by his side.
He was born in Pawhuska, OK on October 17, 1965. He graduated from Permian High School in 1984.
Kevin was a loving and generous man with a great sense of humor. He was a talented handyman and could fix anything. He put his talents to good use working for Waukesha-Pearce Industries as a mechanic. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He and Lisa were in the midst of plans for moving to their new home and growing old together. They were very happy and were enjoying their life together.
He will forever remain in the hearts of his loving family; his fiancée: Melisa “Lisa” Vickerman of Odessa; his mother: Carlene Collins of Odessa; brother: Craig Collins and wife Stacee of New Braunfels; beloved nieces: Samantha and Emily Collins of New Braunfels; aunt: Judith Moreland of Odessa; uncle: James Cornelius and wife JoAnn of Oklahoma City, OK; and numerous cousins.
His father: J. D. Collins preceded Kevin to his heavenly home in March of 2009.
Memorial services to celebrate his life will be 10:00 am Monday, February 13, 2012 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Braswell.
