Billy Gene Irwin

ODESSA Billy Gene Irwin, 73, of Alpine, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at Hospice House in Odessa.

He was born in Atoka, Okla. He was a pipe fitter and a retired U.S. Marine.

Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Acres West Funeral Chapel.

SURVIVORS Wife, Gladys Cavender Irwin of Alpine; mother, Judith Irwin of Odessa; sons, Billy G. Irwin of Cut Off, La., Bruce W. Irwin of Fort Stockton, Douglas P. Irwin of Fort Stockton and Buck Murray of Terlingua; daughter, LeAnn Epley of Oklahoma City; sisters, Darlene Howell and Cassie Stedham both of Odessa; and four grandchildren.
