YOUR COMMENTS:
>> "Ector County commissioners have always been the worst managers and the county judges the worst of all administrators. They're playing the "gotcha" game again. Their complaint this time? Numbers at the westside center are not high enough. Well, duh, it's not very good or usable. But OK, let's just say they get the numbers up to where it's the busiest center in the county. Will they get more money then?
"Nope, they'll say, "Hey, things are great, you don't need any extra money!"
"Thanks to God that the hospital is no longer under them as it used to be. If it were, there would be a plastic storage building with some bandages stored in it located just south of the courthouse and the existing hospital would have been sold for storage space. And of course, no Tech medical, or any of the other doctor offices and clinics that we have now.
"Do westsiders not pay taxes? So why should they be forced to travel, many at great hardship, to some one place far from them and near to others who may have access to EZ Rider, for instance?
"Remember, all of us hope to be older someday, and if we treat these folks like useless cr*p, we can hardly expect better from our kids. How about a little reward for those who worked all their lives? Huh?"
