He is so sure the argument opposing this union from a Bible standpoint is easily dismissed.
The "God hates homosexuals" argument is not scripturally founded because "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life:" John 3:16.
The homosexual is part of the world. The world also is made up of fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, sodomites, thieves, the covetous, drunkards, revilers and extortionists, as mentioned in 1st Corinthians.
And the inspired writer continues in a following verse by saying, " ... and such were some of you but were washed, but you were sanctified but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus."
The arguments of the 23-year-old writing, "I think God created homosexuals" may be an earthshaking statement to this young man, but the Bible says God created Adam and Eve by miracle.
After the creation by God by natural law of procreation, the coming together of a man and a woman produces offspring. Two men or two women coming together are nothing more or less than sexual perversion.
I do not agree with those who say that the homosexual sin is ripping apart the moral fiber of our country. But it is very much a contributor to it.
Every home in America is touched to some degree by divorce. Many break the marriage covenant many times and there are offspring from the relationship who may be marrying their own kin somewhere down the line and not even be aware of it.
God authorizes only one ground or exception for divorce and then to re-marry and that is if a many or woman commit sexual intercourse outside the marriage covenant and then only then can the innocent party re-marry.
People are living together without being married and to some young people it is cool to become pregnant, but that does not mean the God of heaven says it is OK.
