Senior web conferences
Free Home for the Holidays web conference for senior caregivers is being offered at 7 p.m. Dec. 5.
The Web conferences are moderated by a representative from the Home Instead Senior Care network, hosted by the American Society on Aging, and co-sponsored by the National Family Caregivers Association and the National Alliance for Caregiving.

OAWT sets Christmas luncheon, meeting
MIDLAND The Ostomy Association of West Texas has scheduled a Christmas luncheon at 1 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Midland Senior Center.
In addition, a meeting is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 15, 2012, at Midland Memorial Hospital, West Campus.
Refreshments will be provided.

Mommy Bee Contest
Medical Center Hospital Center for Women & Infants is conducting a Mommy Bee Contest.
Registration deadline is Dec. 3.
Semi-final will take place Jan. 7, 2012 and grand finale on Jan. 14.
This contest is designed to help women learn more about healthy pregnancies. Participants will get to win prizes, including a beautiful crib as the grand prize.

Donations welcomed for holiday project
BIG SPRING Big Spring State Hospital is currently taking donations for this year’s holiday project.
Contributions will go to toiletry items to board games to pajamas for the patients.
