Free Home for the Holidays web conference for senior caregivers is being offered at noon Tuesday and 7 p.m. Dec. 5.
The web conferences are moderated by a representative from the Home Instead Senior Care network, hosted by the American Society on Aging , and co-sponsored by the National Family Caregivers Association and the National Alliance for Caregiving.

Growth development informational event

Mommy Bee Contest
Medical Center Hospital Center for Women & Infants is conducting a Mommy Bee Contest.
Registration deadline is Dec. 3.
The semifinal will take place Jan. 7, 2012 and grand finale on Jan. 14.
This contest is designed to help women learn more about healthy pregnancies.
Participants will get to win prizes, including a beautiful crib as the grand prize.

‘MCH Think Pink’
Medical Center Hospital will provide a free mammogram to an underserved patients through the MCH Family Health Clinic for every 500 video views of the MCH Think Pink video throughout October.
Last year, more than 300 MCH employees, volunteers and breast cancer survivors joined together to create the You Tube video to generate awareness about breast cancer. The human ribbon featured at the end of the video is made up of 108 MCH employees, survivors and their family members.

Donations welcomed for holiday project
BIG SPRING Big Spring State Hospital is currently taking donations for this year’s holiday project.
Contributions will go to toiletry items to board games to pajamas for the patients.
