Butler-Frie

SAN DIEGO Jill Butler of Odessa and Joe Frie of Little Falls, Minn., were married Aug. 8 at Harbor Island Park in San Diego with Bill Schellenberger officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Sharla and Mike Butler of Odessa and Diane and Rick Miera of Albuquerque, N.M. She is a 1999 graduate of Permian High School and a 2004 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University.

The groom is the son of Janie and Jim Frie of Little Falls, Minn. He is a 1997 graduate of Little Falls Community, a 2002 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University and a 2003 graduate of Boston College with a master’s degree. He is employed by Qualcomm in San Diego.

Honor attendants were: Christy Lawlis, Jessica Grider, Joy Williams, Lindsay Phillips, Samantha Torres, Nick Czech, Steve Lalim, Bejan Makarechian, Jon Frie, Jeff Frie, Padaric Kolander, Dominic Carrera, Michael Marsh and Jake Medrano.
