Globe Energy makes acquisitions

Globe Energy Services, LLC of Snayder, recently announced the acquisition of Exxcel Well Service, Inc. and Arkhoma Transports, Inc.

Globe also announced a $50 million infusion of growth capital.

"Exxcel, Arkhoma and Globe share an operating philosophy that seeks to eliminate the barriers between our employees and the customers they serve, which we believe ultimately allows us to provide the best service possible, said Globe President and Chief Executive Officer Troy Botts. “We look forward to expanding upon the great companies that Chuck and Joey have built and welcome all of the newest members to our team."

 Exxcel was founded in 2000 and provides well servicing and fishing and rental tools services from operating bases in Midland and Odessa. As of the acquisition, Exxcel employed more than 100 people and operated 18 workover rigs.

Arkhoma, founded in 1978 by current CEO and President Chuck Neas, provides fluid services and disposal from operating bases in Perryton, Amarillo and Canadian, and Liberal, Kansas. As of the acquisition, Arkhoma employed more than 60 people and operated 47 fluid services trucks, 166 frac tanks, and 8 saltwater disposal wells.
