Newt's coming to town

Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, will be speaking at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin next month.

Gingrich, also known for numerous works on politics and religion, is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. April 15 in the UTPB gymnasium at the as part of the John Ben Shepperd Leadership Institute’s annual Distinguished Lecture Series.

The series has featured best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward in the recent past.
