Tame the elements with windows, gutters, siding and trim

Our dreams of spring are filled with light breezes, gentle rains and sunny days. However, the reality is often more extreme with strong wind gusts, torrential downpours, high temperatures and even snow.

Protect yourself and your home from the more drastic elements of spring with windows, rain gutters and siding from First Choice Construction.

First Choice Construction will carefully measure your window space and install attractive, Low-E vinyl windows. These low-maintenance windows seal tightly to keep out drafts, and, because they’re vinyl rather than aluminum, they don’t let heat or cold pass through the frame. Low-E windows keep out most of the sunlight’s heat and all of its UV rays, which can fade carpet and furnishings over the years.

First Choice windows come in a variety of attractive styles, both vertical and horizontal, and they never need painting because the color goes all the way through the vinyl.

“Anyone who hasn’t seen the new windows available will be surprised at how easy they are to use and maintain,” says owner John Peters. “Windows tilt in so that you can clean them in indoor comfort. Come on in to our showroom and let us demonstrate them for you.”

During the dry times, West Texans sometimes forget that when the rain falls, it falls fast and furious. First Choice carries 5” and 6” seamless gutters in 17 attractive colors to match your décor and take away that runoff. Seamless gutters have no unsightly joints in the middle of a straight section and never need painting.

“Everything we sell is either low-maintenance or no-maintenance,” John says. “To make gutter maintenance even easier, we now offer gutter cleaning service.”

When the weather is perfect, most of us would rather be planting our gardens or driving to a vacation spot instead of climbing a ladder to re-paint our house trim. With siding, soffit and fascia (trim) from First Choice Construction, you can forget about your paint can. Vinyl and steel siding eliminates the work and worry of having to constantly re-paint your home. The improved appearance of your home with new siding may increase its value.

“Now is the time to call us and get an estimate for attractive, weather-resistant siding and windows,” John says.

Since First Choice keeps a large inventory of seven popular colors in stock, you’ll get a good price for the siding you order, and First Choice’s workers will get to the job site quicker. Or, First Choice can special-order a wide variety of colors.

“Be sure to mention the At Your Service ad for a 10% discount on windows, siding or trim,” John says.

First Choice Construction has been in business since 1993. They recently purchased Lewellen Construction at 2815 West Industrial in Midland. They are open 8:30-5:00 Monday through Friday. Other times are available by appointment. Call them at (432) 570-5551. Estimates are free.
