WHY SHE TEACHES: “Now, more than ever, the very future of our nation is dependent upon the levels of education that our children receive. Our survival as a nation is indelibly linked to superior education. (We live) in a world that is increasingly linked together to a global set of political, social, economic and scientific standards. Our children MUST be able to not only compete, but lead the way in all of these areas. Quality education is the key element in their preparation. That is the modern challenge that I willingly accept as a contemporary educator.”
HER CLASS MISSION: “Education is a journey filled with many pathways. Each individual student must find their own pathway through this journey to achieve the standards set forth by our society. A teacher’s daily challenge is to facilitate the student in finding this pathway and empower him or her with the essential means to successfully complete this pursuit.”
