There's nothing quite like deliberate destruction. And, in approved venues, it's totally OK.
For the uninitiated, here's how a demolition derby usually works: The usual derby has at least five drivers who deliberately ram their vehicles into each other, with the goal of being the last driver with an operational vehicle. Rules can vary, though.
It's loud. It's messy. It's fun.
The derby takes place both at 7 p.m. both Saturdays of the fair at the derby track.
FAIR HOURS
Friday, Sept. 5: 5 p.m. - midnight
Saturday, Sept. 6: 10 a.m. - midnight
Sunday, Sept. 7: Noon - 10 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 8: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 9: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 10: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 11: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 12: 5 p.m. - midnight
Saturday, Sept. 13: 10 a.m. - midnight
ADMISSION
>> $10: Adults.
>> $5: Seniors 60 and older and children 12 and younger.
>> Free: Child 12 and younger on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only.
MONDAY ADMISSION ONLY
$5: Adults.
$3: Seniors 60 and older and children 12 and younger.
