Jack S. Davis

ODESSA Jack S. Davis, 56, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008.

He was born June 13, 1951, to Thomas Leo and Elwanda Walls Davis in Lamesa, Texas. He married Pamala Larue July 4, 1992, in Big Spring, Texas.

He was a court reporter, master electrician, worked for Phillips Petroleum for 10 years, and was well known as a "Jack Of All Trades." Jack played several instruments, and performed magic.

He was an Eagle Scout, Native Indian tribal dancer, loved the outdoors and spent some time in Hawaii.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Leo Davis.


He is survived by his wife, Pamala Horton; son, Steven Jack Davis of Belleview, Washington; mother, Elwanda Davis of Midland; brothers, Thomas Davis and wife, Pam of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Mark Davis and wife Sheryl of Midland; two nephews, Thomas C. Davis and wife, Michelle, and David D. Davis and wife, Angel all from Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Randy Duckit officiating. Burial to follow at 4:30 p.m. at Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa, Texas.

Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
