Strategic partner arranges transactions between buyer and seller

Combine Riviera Energy Corporation's clear, concise and informative packaging and proficient use of technologies with their extensive qualified buyers' network, and you have a strategic partner ready to assist you in finding aggressive buyers for your properties.

Since it was founded 12 years ago, Riviera Energy Corporation, a Midland-based transaction advisory firm, has proven how a third party can play an important role in the successful completion of oil and gas transactions. Strategies, funding, and timing make each buyer's criteria different.

"With new technology, there are changes to the way we drill wells, complete wells and frac wells," says Jeffrey P. Longbotham, president of Riviera Energy Corporation. "We stay on top of these changes and help you take advantage of the new horizons that have opened in the energy industry."

As an experienced facilitator with combined documented sales of more than $900 million, quickly approaching $1 billion in sales, Riviera Energy's staff has demonstrated its benefit to both buyers and sellers.

Jeff has surrounded himself with a staff of geologists, engineers, technicians, and accountants in an effort to provide quality packaging, marketing and negotiating services to successfully facilitate the sale of assets with a personal approach to the needs of his clients. Riviera's personnel have a combined total of more than 95 years of complete experience in the oil and gas industry.

Jeff was born and raised in West Texas. His family has deep roots in the oil, gas, and ranching businesses. He gained extensive knowledge of the business at a young age by being involved with the various interests owned by his family. These experiences gave Jeff hands-on experience as a land owner, mineral rights owner, and working interest owner, all valuable assets in the oil and gas profession and in his current business.

Following college, Jeff was employed by one of the largest independent banks in the Southwest. He worked extensively in the banking industry with consumer, commercial and oil and gas lending for 10 years. In 1983 he was promoted to vice president/manager. He left the bank in 1991, and in 1992 he began working as an independent oil and gas consultant.

In 1993, Jeffrey formed Western Energy Resources where he began to work with interest owners to trade oil and gas producing properties.

In 1996, when Jeff formed Riviera Energy Corporation, his purpose was to provide a complete marketing company to package, market and negotiate the sale of oil and gas properties for sellers in the West Texas area. Riviera Energy takes pride in its ability to thoroughly and dynamically facilitate the marketing and consummation of each property it sells.

Although Riviera Energy's expertise was and is in the Permian Basin area, it has expanded to include the eastern and northern regions of Texas and all of New Mexico.  "We are not limited to just our corporate region, and have marketed and facilitated the sale of producing properties in all regions of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Colorado and Wyoming," Jeff says.

Riviera Energy Corporation is in Centennial Tower at 200 North Loraine, Suite 1450, Midland. For more information, call (432) 686-9400 or visit their website at www.RivieraEnergy.com.
