In support of Wilkins

ECISD stands at the edge of a new future. But a new superintendent cannot do it alone. He needs an experienced and dedicated board that will work as a team, energized and focused on the task at hand.

The task is clear - the delivery of high quality education for all students and citizens of Odessa. The challenge is great, but not beyond the reach of a resourceful superintendent and visionary school board members whose decisions are grounded in character.

Character is that unique feature of humankind comprising morals, principals, standards and ethics. Board members of character need to have a sense of service which links citizens and schools in a meaningful and purposeful way-to-build-excellence.

Yollie Wilkins is a person of character and we urge her support on May 10.
