Best cable provider

Cable ONE is a local company with national connections. We listen to the community and offer you the programs you want and the service you deserve.

Cable ONE is the owner and operator of 52 cable television systems that provide digital, Internet and phone services to subscribers in 19 midwestern, western and southern states. We take great pride in the high customer satisfaction ratings achieved by our cable systems, some of the best in the industry.

Our 48 local employees are available for 24/7 tech support and same-day repair with an on-time guarantee. In addition to our High Speed Internet and phone service, cable offerings include local and network high-definition, Spanish language channels and Faith and Values programming.

Our primary goals are simple: to be first in customer service and technical excellence. In order to achieve those goals over the last five years, we have spent $500 million to improve quality and make new services available to our customers. We have invested heavily in each town we service.

We also work hard to be a positive presence in the community. Among the community organizations and causes that we sponsor in Odessa are United Way, Newspapers in Education, the Ector Theatre, Cable in the Classroom, the Globe Theatre, OC Rodeo, Fiesta West Texas, UTPB Swim Team, Project Graduation, Celtfest and many more. Cable ONE provides free cable service to every public school and fire station in its service area.

One local initiative that we are very proud of is “Operation Freedom Rings.” “Operation Freedom Rings” gives local military families an opportunity to come into our office and make free calls to their service members anywhere in the world. Cable ONE is also sponsoring an Army unit - Bravo Troop 3-73 CAV in Baghdad, Iraq, by sending the soldiers snack foods and other items that they can’t easily get there.

Forbes Magazine recently named our corporation, The Washington Post Company, in the Top 10 of America's Most Trustworthy Companies. Additionally, The Washington Post Company was highly ranked on Fortune Magazine's list of Most Admired Companies, coming in first among publishing companies.

Reader Comments
Many of you have expressed concerns about some of the harsh anonymous comments from readers. To remedy that, we are introducing new features. You can create your own blog, publish your news and share your photos with the community. Once you fill out a simple form and leave a verifiable e-mail address, you can set up your profile page. It will display all of your contributions and allow you to track issues and easily connect with others.

We want our site to be a place where people discuss and debate ideas that foster stronger communities. We built this for you. Please take care of it. Tolerate broad thinking, but take action against obscene or hateful material. Make it a credible and safe place worth preserving and sharing.
