Company receives multiple national awards for excellence

BMW of the Permian Basin has received its fourth consecutive Center of Excellence award along with five individual achievement awards for staff members. The Center of Excellence distinction is given annually by BMW of North America to a handful of the highest performing dealerships in the country. Center of Excellence dealerships rank highest in customer satisfaction and value measured by criteria including performance in sales, leasing, service, finance and independent survey analysis.

In addition, several employees were also recognized by BMW of North America for high performance in their respective areas. Master technicians John Converse and Efrain Ramirez were both recognized as being in the top 10 percent of BMW technicians nationally. Service manager Doug Leggett received the Chromium award as did parts assistant Ronnie King. In addition, Debbie Gillen won the 2009 BMW Business Managers award.  

The 2008 Center of Excellence award was presented to owner Rod Steele, center operator Roy Hunt, and general manager Jim Foreman by John Valetta of BMW of North America at a special awards dinner party in honor of the managers and staff. Hunt and Foreman have a combined history with the company of more than 22 years and have been presented the award seven times.

The employees and staff have worked diligently to achieve a supreme level of service and knowledge as well as sensitivity to the customers’ needs in a difficult economy.
