Delaine is the daughter of Ken and Deanna Peden and sister to Drew Peden, currently serving in the U. S. Navy. Her grandparents are Roy and Priscilla Hyson, Darryl and Florence Raymond, Jeanie Peden and the late Rev. Homer Peden. Delaine is a senior at Permian High School where she serves as a senior lieutenant for the Panther Paws. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Texas Scholars, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and First Baptist Church's youth group. Delaine plans to attend Texas Tech in the fall to major in Fashion Design.

The Odessa Symphony Guild’s primary fundraiser is the annual Gala Ball. This event honors the graduating senior Belles and Beaux, while recognizing all Belles and Beaux.
The “Sweet Sounds of the Symphony” is Feb. 25 at the Odessa Country Club. Sponsor tables are now available.
