Attorney arrested

A source has confirmed that one of the four men arrested Saturday in a domestic disturbance is former Permian football standout and Odessa attorney Brian Chavez.
John Wilkins confirmed that his son, Stan Wilkins, and Chavez were arrested Saturday on burglary of habitation charges.
Stan Wilkins is also a football coach at Bowie Jr. High, ECISD Communications Director Mike Adkins said.
Chavez was part of the Permian High School football team in the late 1980s that was featured in the book and motion picture, "Friday Night Lights."
Wilkins and Chavez were teammates on the 1988 Permian team.
