ANNIVERSARY: Kennedy

ODESSA Harley and Dorothy Kennedy of Odessa celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary July 23 with a celebration at their daughter’s home in Odessa.
Dorothy Garfield married her husband July 21, 1946, at First Christian Church in Fremont, Neb., with the Rev. Rex Moe officiating.
The couple has five children: Steve Kennedy of San Antonio, Larry Kennedy of Gatesville, Kathy Kennedy of Houston and Barbara Kennedy and Nancy Vanley, both of Odessa. They have nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Harley Kennedy retired from TG&Y in 1983. Dorothy Kennedy is a homemaker.
