John Nicolas ‘Nico’ Olivas

ANDREWS John Nicolas "Nico" Olivas, 13, of Andrews, died Saturday, May 17, 2008, in Odessa.


A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Joey Faylona officiating. Burial will be at Andrews North Cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.


He was born in Fort Worth.


SURVIVORS Father, Jose Olivas of Andrews; mother, Gina Rivera of Fort Worth; stepmother, Shayna McCormick of Andrews; stepbrothers, Jordan Higdon and Justin Higdon, both of Andrews; grandparents, Jose and Blanca Olivas of Del Rio, Donna Rivera of Fort Worth, Johnny Rivera of Fort Worth, Irma Grandarilla of Fort Worth; step-grandparents, Shane and Debbie McCormick of Andrews; and great-grandparent, Georgia Rivera of Fort Worth.
